Using methamphetamine, the priest performed an exorcism with the baby. Police said an Arkansas pastor admitted to using methamphetamine with the parishioner and performing an exorcism ritual on a 1-year-old child.
According to the New York Post, the woman told the police that her child was captured by the devil. Doctors stated that the boy who was taken to the hospital got sick as a result of malnutrition and also had a cerebral hemorrhage.
Lloyd Eddie Lasker Jr., pastor of the bunker and Liberation Ministry Church on the Mayflower, was arrested in September at a gas station containing methamphetamine and pipes. 22, according to court documents obtained by News & Observer.
On September 18, in the town of Conway, police went to check the church as a result of a report and found a 21-month-old baby. The baby had bruises all over his body. The baby’s mother and the priest named Eddie Lasker were also with the baby.
The investigating team went to his home to ask questions to the priest 4 days after the incident, but Lasker was not at home. Police began to investigate the area and found the pastor in his car, next to the gas station, in a small town to the north. The team searching the car found some methamphetamine and pipes.
In the driver’s seat was another person named Timothy Bynum. The priest claimed he did not know that there were drugs and pipes in his vehicle, but Bynum told the police that the drugs belonged to the priest.
Later, the pastor admitted that he had used methamphetamine several times in church with the mother of the child in the intensive care unit and others. In the continuation of his confession, he said that he performed the exorcism ceremony for the child but would not explain how he performed the ritual.
