In a statement on his social media account, Zelenskiy said that Russia had launched numerous missile and drone attacks on Ukraine in March.

Zelensky said that in March alone, the Russian military used more than 400 missiles of various types, more than 600 “Shahed” drones and more than 3,000 guided bombs in attacks on Ukraine. “Different cities and villages of Ukraine are suffering from this terror, Russia is hitting the frontline regions and border communities especially hard,” Zelensky said.

Zelenskiy pointed out that the city of Kharkiv has been attacked by missiles and drones since the first days of the war, and noted the following:

“Now Russian terrorists are using aerial bombs in attacks on Kharkiv. This means daily harassment and suffering in the city, daily loss of life. Critically important infrastructure is being destroyed, ordinary houses are damaged every day. None of this will happen when Ukraine has reliable air defense systems that can save the lives of our people and make our cities safe again. The Patriots in Ukrainian hands have proven that any form of Russian terrorism can lose. This is essential for our Kharkiv and other cities and communities currently under Russian attack.”
