According to Haaretz, Netanyahu visited a military base in the north of the country yesterday.
Prior to Netanyahu’s visit to the special military unit called Alpinist, soldiers were instructed to be ready for a meeting, but many soldiers refused to meet with Netanyahu.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office released a statement on the visit to the base, which included footage of Netanyahu meeting with soldiers from the unit in northern Israel.
Netanyahu, who is accused by some in Israel of failing to prevent Hamas’ attacks on October 7, visited wounded soldiers in December, and there were reports in the country’s press that some soldiers did not want to meet with him.
