Apple introduced new models of iPhone devices to users in September 2023.
The company was known to use a 12-megapixel front camera with five plastic lens elements in the iPhone 15.
However, some information about the iPhone 17 was leaked before the iPhone 16 was released.

WHAT WILL IPHONE 17 LOOK LIKE?
While the iPhone 16 series is expected to have the same hardware features as the 15, it was stated that Apple is preparing to make a very serious upgrade with the iPhone 17.
FRONT CAMERA EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO 24 MEGAPIXELS
According to MacRumors, Apple will upgrade its front-facing camera to 24 megapixels with the iPhone 17.
The upgrade will significantly improve the image quality of the camera, the report said.
Higher resolutions will allow users to take better quality selfies.
In addition, the high number of pixels will capture finer details, making images sharper and more vibrant.
IPHONE 17 PRO WILL HAVE NEW FACE ID TECHNOLOGY
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to reduce the size of the Dynamic Island and be the first iPhone with under-panel Face ID technology.
It was also noted that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be Apple’s last models to feature a circular cutout in the front cameras.
2027 UNDER SCREEN CAMERA ON PRO AND PRO MAX DEVICES
Apple is then expected to adopt under-screen cameras on 2027’s “Pro” iPhone models for a true “all-screen” look.
