Netflix briefly summarizes the plot of the 2023 thriller as follows:

“A kind-hearted nurse tries to uncover the secrets of a comatose patient. But behind the secrets lies a bitter rivalry, betrayal and murder.”

Captivity is director Nour Wazzi’s feature film debut, and the screenplay is by British writer and director Rowan Joffé.
