Katerina Babadzhanova said she fled the bombs with her 11-month-old baby and said, “My child and the war caught us in Kiev at 5:00 a.m. We took everything and came to Lviv. Because the bombs were only a few miles from our house. We have to keep our children safe. He’s a baby yet and he doesn’t deserve to live in war,” he said.

Babadzhanova said she wished the war would end as soon as possible, calling on NATO to “Please close the airspace. Don’t let the kids die.”

Vitalii and Anna expressed concern for their children and said what happened was a great shame for humanity.

More than 130 children were also injured in the attacks, according to ukrainian figures.
