Brie Larson showcases her pull-up skills in Captain Marvel workout video
Marvel star Brie Larson showcased her pull-up skills in her workout video.
The Oscar-winning actress plays Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, a fighter jet pilot in the Air Force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Larson, who portrayed the character in 2019’s Captain Marvel, reprized his role in Avengers: Endgame later in the same year. Larson was last seen as Danvers during the credits of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings this summer.
The next production where we will see Larson’s superhero will be the Captain Marvel sequel called The Marvels, which is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2023.
Two days ago (December 29), the 32-year-old actress shared a video of her hard physical training for the role.
“@rise_movement doesn’t take a break from training,” the actor wrote next to the video.
In the video, Larson is seen approaching a bar in the gym and doing five pull-ups.
While The Marvels reportedly finished filming in November, most of the studio’s films are undergoing extensive reshoots after they’ve finished principal photography, Screenrant reports. This requires Larson to remain physically ready for the role.
On The Marvels, Danvers (played by Iman Vellani) is Ms. Marvel will be accompanied by other superheroes, including Kamala Khan. Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau will also appear in the movie after gaining superpowers on WandaVision.
Larson recently shared a photo on Twitter that hints at the role of British actress Zawe Ashton in the sequel.
The actress shared a series of photos of Ashton standing next to her wearing a “Villain Hero Lovers Club” printed sweater. The post in question sparked speculation that Ashton would play a villain.
“Marvel fans, get started with your theories,” Larson wrote alongside the post, accompanied by a winking face emoji.
