According to the Russian TASS news agency, Putin accused Ukraine of “competing provocative military actions”, such as “the use of Bayraktar armed drones” against pro-Russian forces in the east of the country.
Putin emphasized that the Ukrainian administration violated the Minsk agreements reached to end the conflicts in the east of the country and followed a destructive attitude. During the meeting, the Russian leader also emphasized that the Kiev administration should abandon its attempts to use military force in the Donbass region in the east of the country.
Ukraine officially announced that it was using the Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs, which it bought from Turkey in October, for the first time against the separatists in the east of the country, and this statement created discomfort in Russia.
‘ERDOĞAN ASKED ALIYEV-PAŞINYAN MEETING’
According to the Kremlin statement, Putin also briefed Erdogan about the meeting he held with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on 26 November in Sochi. In the statement that the request for information came from Erdogan, it was noted that “Baku and Yerevan declared that they are ready for cooperation in the context of ensuring stability in the region and establishing mechanisms for the determination of borders between the two states, and this is of great importance”. In the Kremlin statement, it was also stated that Azerbaijan and Armenia are willing to solve everyday issues in areas such as trade, economy and transportation.
COOPERATION IN ENERGY AND AGRICULTURE
It was noted that during the Putin-Erdogan meeting, cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy and agriculture was also on the agenda, and it was noted that the two leaders decided to instruct the relevant units to start preparations for the next meeting of the Turkey-Russia High Level Cooperation Council to be held at the beginning of next year.
