WHO Deputy Director General and Drugs and Health Products Officer Dr. Simao said, “This vaccine will need to be licensed in the country where the trial was made, in the country where it was tested.” said.
Simao stated that WHO is working very closely with national regulatory authorities for the COVID-19 vaccine, and that many steps need to be taken for a widespread vaccination after the FAZ-3 trials are actually terminated.
