President Ilham Aliyev approved the decision to declare a “state of war” in some parts of the country due to the clashes on the Armenia-Azerbaijan front line.

According to the decision adopted at the extraordinary meeting, as long as the “state of war” continues, the constitutional rights and freedoms and property rights of Azerbaijani citizens and foreigners in the country will be partially and temporarily restricted.

With the “state of war”, it is also envisaged that a curfew will be declared at certain times in some regions.

In the morning, clashes broke out on the Armenian-Azerbaijani front line when Armenian forces opened fire on Azerbaijani civilian settlements.
