The Fed will start to receive corporate bonds
The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has announced that it will begin to receive corporate bonds.
According to the Fed’s statement, the bank will receive corporate bonds within the scope of the Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility (SMCCF) to support market liquidity and credit availability for large employers.
In the statement stated that the company will create a portfolio of bonds with the aforementioned purchase, it is stated that the criteria such as minimum rating and maximum maturity will be taken into consideration in corporate bond purchases.
